How do I set the Current Academic Year?

The Academic Year / Cohort Dates tool is used to create or manage your semester/cohorts, set your current Academic Year, and manage the start and end date of each of the terms in our system.

When you are about to start a brand new academic year, enter the 4 digit year of the first year in the range into the “Current Academic Year” box at the top of the page.  For example, enter in: 2023 to designate the beginning of the 2023 - 2024 Academic Year.

The system uses this “Current Academic Year” in many of the reports built into the system, as a time saver for filling in the Academic Year.
