Resources: Restricted Resources vs General Resources

There are two different types of Files / Resources available to the faculty member.

1. Restricted Resources

Restricted resources are documents that the faculty member can upload into the system that are NOT intended for general release to the student population (of the specific cohort / class).  These are resources that may be tied to specific assignments for example use in exams or threads.  These files would be released to the student on an "as needed" basis based on the release date of the assignment and available to the student ONLY through the assignment.

2. General Resources

General Resources are documents that the faculty member can upload into the system that are intended for general release to the student population (of the specific cohort / class)  These files are not restricted in any way.  The files are available to the student as soon as they are uploaded.
